Where does the name Mach3 come from?

Mach3 is three times the speed of sound, or about 2300 mph performed at or above our stratosphere. Our founder has always had a passion for military aviation. He made 2 separate attempts to enlist shortly after graduating from high school. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a medical condition that disqualified him from basic training. A son to a U.S. Air Force Veteran & Aerospace Engineer, he has met many civilian test pilots and combat pilots. Our founder has attended several airshows on a VIP level and has witnessed many fly-bys when his father’s friends were delivering an aircraft on a heading of 2-7-0. Our founder believes in vertical take-offs and has always had the need for speed……
